Dec 23, 2022 · Taurus G2C problems. Hello. I was wondering if anybody else conceal carries the Taurus G2C 9mm and if so have you had any problems with it? Failure to feed, trigger problems, safety problems. Reason I ask is because I have had mine for a little over a year and sometimes when I fire it, the safety engages automatically when I shoot. The Taurus Gen 1 striker-fired pistols would fire when dropped, but only if the operator first made the pistol unsafe by engaging the safety with the trigger pulled back. In that condition, the pistols could be fired with the safety engaged, and could fire when dropped on the back of the slide because the trigger was free to move.Make more effort while engaging the slide lock. Incomplete Discharge. Clean it regularly and inspect the barrel for lodged bullets. Feeding Problem. Take the magazine out, and regularly clean the gun. 1. The Taurus G2C is a very affordable CCW pistol with a high 12+1 capacity and great reliability (so far) but still suffers from a long and gritty trigger, external safety, and possibly the brand for some.
