My DM tried to decrease my pay back to what I was making pre-RXOM (which was only 16.50) and wasn't considering the cap or that I was going to be a senior tech. I skipped straight from tech to RXOM though, I wasn't ever in the senior tech position first.RXOM is a pathway to store manager. If you want a store then yes, it's probably worth it, even though many aspects of the job will suck. If you have no interest in becoming SM, then I'd NOPE right out that offer. Rxom is good if you want manager experience. Its also good if the rxm allows you to be an actual rxom.

At least with my area, it's not required to have WALGREENS experience but you do at least have to have a year of tech experience from somewhere. However my area does prefer to keep it in company and then hire an outside tech for normal tech dutyThus began my search for a new job with better pay.
