Recently purchased an RMR to replace an older DeltaPoint Pro on a Glock 34 MOS. I mounted and really tried to like it but it is nowhere close to the Leupold in clarity. The window on the RMR seemed somewhat distorted. I have run a 5 MOA SRO and a Delta Point on a G34, a Walther Q5, and on a Smith 929 (ICORE Open Division gun). The SRO is hands-down my favorite. It has a huge window with a crisp and bright dot, and mounts with the same plates as the RMR. The DP now has duty as the offset optic on a PCC while Q5 & 929 both are equipped with an SRO.The small window of the RMR along with a huge view-obscuring frame are the primary reasons it isn’t very popular in USPSA. The holes on the slide line directly up with the holes an the rmr but are skinnier than the screws that I recieved for mounting the rmr. I have had both. Got rid of my Holosun. It died after one range session. Replaced under warranty then sold. My rmr type 2 is still functioning perfect after 1000s of rounds in over a year of use.
