Review of Mushroom Rock State Park. We were camping at Kanopolis State Park. This is about 15 minutes away. We found out why they call this area "the smokey hills". The morning fog & the rolling hills were beautiful. There's 2 areas with parking on both sides of the road. There's a pit toilet.On a road trip across Kansas, inspiring terrain hides just a short detour off I-70.
