Ive killed 2 megs in the fog. Neither were the ghost. Both times I had been chased by the meg for a bit before the fog and it went away. So only tip I can offer is if you are heading to fog and a meg comes up kill it because im pretty sure that same meg will just keep spawning on you.The Shrouded Ghost is supposed to be super rare, that's why it's so sought after. It's why it's the thing of legend and why it's so prized. If Rare keeps nerfing all the valuable and illusive things in the game there'll be little left that's actually special.

I knew how rare they were, I just thought it was the red one because I didn't know it turned dark with glowing pink fins at night. I just despawned it.
