Golf cart noise when accelerating

New Member. Aug 24, 2012. #1. We just bought a used 2009 Club Car electric (48V) golf cart that has jerky acceleration. When you try to accelerate slowly (especially on a hill) you can't hold the pedel steady and the cart jerks. The throttle pedal goes up and down and you can't hold it steady. Any ideas what is wrong..
