Jan 8, 2022 · Normally when you install the FFXIV_ACT_plugin a button should appear that says "show overlay" but that button does not appear when installing the plugin. So maybe it is problem with the FFXIV_ACT_plugin and windows 11. Or maybe I'm just doing something wrong but I have installed a couple of times before and never had an issue. The first is the folder where you installed ACT. Probably C:\Program Files\Advanced Combat Tracker or something like that, unless you changed it. This folder contains all of your plugins/overlays, but not any settings changes or customizations. To save those, you'll want to backup the Config folder. Open the Start menu, type Run, and press Enter.

I use my D drive to run all games and all programs, and I installed ACT onto the D drive accordingly. However it still logs everything into the %appdata% folder on C.
