Zweihander scales with strength with a C rating so it may not seem that great. However, it has a base damage rating of 325 so it's still pretty good. If you want, you can use resins or Great Magic Weapon, Crystal Magic Weapon, Sunlight Blade, Darkmoon Blade, etc. to increase the damage with an enchantment while still having decent strength scaling.Zweihander has tons of reach. But it's slow, swing when the enemy is right on top of you, they'll interrupt you and wreck your shit up. The key is to back up, and swing a bit early. Also get the grass crest shield.
