It is $12,000/year for 4 years for a total of $48,000!!Regarding Ohio State — our oldest son selected OSU and majored in Aerospace Engineering. He chose the school primarily because he wanted the big school experience, and they are also very well rated across multiple engineering majors. Ohio State is a good school, but it's a better university for people who want to get a professional degree (business, accounting, engineering, nursing, social work, etc.). Many of your intro classes are huge lectures (very little discussion). Ohio State prioritizes things like STEM and business.The social life is okay and the greek system is strong. The sad fact is that it is located in Columbus, Ohio, the capital of the state of Ohio and the entire city revolves around OSU and OSU athletics. It has gotten somewhat more difficult to get into the university which is good that they are raising their standards as a state school.
